Vision of the House for 2023
The Year of Intentionally Drawing Nearer to God
(James 4:7-8)
Cedar Grove, it is with divine love that I greet you. As I reflect over the year of 2022, I am so grateful how God blessed the ministry.
Souls were saved, He blessed us to get the church paid off during a pandemic and be able to approach the new year debt free.
This is a wonderful testament of God's favor on this ministry and your faithfulness to give each Sunday, But we can't
stop and get relaxed, because with the church being debt free, it will give us the opportunity to get some other things done.
I believe 2023 will be a year of further progress for the ministry. I also believe the church will go to another level spiritually.
However, there are four important components we must do to experience what God would have for the church in the new year:
SERVE WITH THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE (Daniel 6:3)
GROW STRONGER IN THE AREA OF UNITY (Psalm 133:1)
WE MUST GROW IN THE AREA OF STUDYING GOD'S WORD (Psalm 1:2; Romans 10:17)
THOSE IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS MUST STEP UP (Luke 12:48)
Cedar Grove, I strongly believe for the church to go to next dimension that God has prepared, it is imperative that we challenge and hold
one another accountable as it relates to the four components listed above. This is vital because I can sense in my spirit God is
positioning the church for something greater that's on the way. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9, "but as it is written: eye has not seen,
nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." The key is we
must work together on one accord and serve Him faithfully as we fulfil this vision throughout the year. In closing,
as Pastor I challenge each one of us to ask ourselves individually and collectively, ARE WE READY for what God desires to do in this ministry?
